From retailers looking to pop or professional services firms seeking that top level look, Lissa has been creating memorable and authentic company brands for 20 years. A 40 Under 40 Award winner and award-winning graphic designer, she initially made her mark creating most of the ByWard Market’s hip restaurant logos, those street-level brands that began to change the retail face of Ottawa. She delivers targeted, smart and integrated visual communications campaigns for her clients. She has designed for both private and public sector clients including municipalities, festivals, arts organizations, private and Crown Corporations. Never shy, always passionate, Lissa is a force to be reckoned with—she wants only the best for her clients and enjoys the collaborative process of getting there.In 2012, Lissa combined her passion for food, connecting and design to create Eat Me… Ottawa’s Coolest Indie Food Guide; pooling her knowledge of the industry, good design and love of the region’s close knit food community to create a guide that encourages everyone to be a food tourist in their own town. Now approaching it’s 4th Edition, Eat Me is distributed to over 220, 000 households in Ottawa via Valpak.
Dedicated to making a difference in her community she has given of her time and expertise to design campaigns for Hope Volleyball, The Ottawa Humane Society’s Wiggle Waggle Walkathon, Hopeful Hearts Dog Rescue, The Centre for Excellence in Child and Youth Mental Health and Project Chance Africa.
Lissa currently sits on the governing board of The Ottawa Executive Association and is a supporter of Women for Mental Health at The Royal. She will be travelling to Kenya again in 2015 to help her mother’s not for profit Project Chance Africa which supports schools and children in the Mathare Slum.
