Garry Lackner

LacknerBIOBWGarry Lackner has 34 years experience in videography and video production for broadcast, web, corporate and government.

He has worked with every broadcast network in North America and many around the world. He was the Director of Photography on the patient feature stories for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Telethon and the Ottawa Heart Institute patient features. He has also been DOP on Discovery Channel’s Daily planet features and the War Amps of Canada’s Child Amputee (CHAMP) profiles. Garry has also been a producer on many projects, including corporate marketing videos.

For 3 years Garry was the program creator and executive producer of 13 half hour shows profiling firefighters rescuing drivers from automobile accidents. The series was broadcast on the Outdoor Life Channel and “I” Channel in Canada.

From 1982 to 1995 Garry worked for CJOH-TV as a news cameraman.
