Ottawa Community Housing Foundation Event
OMG was asked to organize a community and media event for Ottawa Community Housing Foundation (OCHF) to celebrate the biggest funding announcement in its history, a $600K grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The event involved some of the region’s top politicians including MPP Yasir Naqvi & Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, community leaders and the media. It highlighted the great work being done in OCHF’s neighbourhoods, while respecting the not-for-profit’s limited budget.
“Organizing special events and getting media attention……isn’t easy. You need to be organized, smart and connected. Fortunately, Kimothy and Eric from Ottawa Media Group (OMG) have all three qualities.
Recently, the Ottawa Community Housing Foundation engaged OMG to help manage a special event. The outcome was a “home-run”. We had a great turn out….both with invited guests and with the media. Working with Kimothy and Eric made the job easy. They’re well connected to the community and demonstrate great professionalism. We look forward to working with them again.”

OMG was tasked with putting Punchtime, a local technology startup, on the map with the official launch of its first product, an employee productivity app. It engineered a launch event with a new partner to showcase the innovative technology and the potential of the app.
“OMG was the key ingredient to our product launch. They engineered just the right sequence of events to get our product in the right spot.”
